S25u sound quality

Has anybody else noticed this?

It was the first thing I noticed that made me wince when I got my new s25u.

Not all the time so I don't know if it's how a sound is recorded that impacts the output, but often, i find the sound coming from the bottom speaker to be very "tinny". I reduce the volume but i still can't get past it.

Yeah same. There is a sound equaliser in the settings though, if you have a mess around with that you should be able to find a good sound that you prefer.

Thats interesting, have to say I find the sound really good on mine. Just a thought but have you checked the Equaliser settings you're using?

Yes just been through those settings, still not right though. Even changed the sound to adapt to my age range. I guess it's just something to get used to!

My friend has just got his S25 ultra and noticed the same time

My girlfriend has just got the

Honor magic 7 Pro and those speakers are epic they blow my S24 ultra speakers out of the water

Yeah and its very possible I've just not noticed but I did feel it was improved to my old phone. One other thought, have you checked the balance settings under accessibility->hearing enhancements?

Can't say I've noticed anything out of the ordinary with the speakers. They're decent, very much similar to all past Ultras I've owned tbh. Do you enable Dolby Atmos by any chance?

Was the phone pre installed with the updated Samsung music app
after I installed the latest security software last week the sound changed on my a55 didn't sound as loud just couldn't put my finger on I sent error report and then there was a update for the app, I to tried the equaliser settings and I always have Dolby Atmos turned on which doesn't make a lot of difference through phone speakers which it did before I did the security update
