S25 Ultra - The Upgrade First Opinions

Recently, I upgraded from my S23 Ultra to my S25 Ultra. I would like to leave a small first review for those interested in buying an upgrade or getting an S25 in general.

(S25U/S23U will be short for Ultra)

First, I noticed the removal of the Air Features; it is a shame that using a pen from another phone unfortunately doesn't work.

Next is the camera. It now has 120 fps in UHD (pro mode), which is an amazing improvement from the 60 and 30 fps. You can now record almost cinema-like footage with brilliant quality. Now, all I'm excited for is 8K 60; Samsung, you know what to do.

Finally, I've noticed the phone's general power. Now you can keep more than one app open at once using "Keep Open" in the app tray. Gaming at extreme speeds is also possible, thanks to the quality of Samsung's new glass display, which is less reflective than the S23 Ultra's, making it usable outdoors.

Final opinion:
This phone is a perfect upgrade if you are using a phone below an S20 or older. However, if you have an s23 or S24, you might want to stick with your current phone for now.

I will note any spelling errors and grammar was fixed using Galaxy A.I. to put it to the test. Let's see if it's noticeable that it's A.I. when people don't read this segment.

Hello 👋 @AFS-Reviews

It's fantastic that you are enjoying your new phone.

I certainly haven't had any buyers remorse since buying mine.

I still have the s²³ Ultra and s²⁴ Ultra too.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hi @AFS-Reviews. Glad you are happy with the upgrade ,interesting report.

Yes the lack of Bluetooth functionality on the S Pen 🖊 has disappointed some but not widely used and generally customers feel this is outweighed by the technological advances.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

I am glad to see you give positive review for your new phone and that you are enjoying it, and you also appreciate your old phone.
I have upgraded from S24U because I was curious to try the camera, CPU and battery improvements of the S25U and I am not disappointed at all, but I admit that S24U is still a champion. I am not impressed that Samsung dropped the BT functionality of the SPen and I hope they will bring it back, there are times when it comes in handy and it's just there in the phone when you need it, however, the phone is super smooth and versatile, and the fact that it's lighter it has it's advantages. I hope you will continue to enjoy your new phone. 😊

A decent honest write up detailing your experiences to date. A really nice read.

I still have my S23 Ultra which I still believe to be one of the best devices Samsung have ever produced.

The S24 Ultra by comparison has superb build quality but the cameras were a huge let down.

Upgrading from S24 Ultra to S25 Ultra I can clearly see the differences in camera, screen and general device quality. Battery is a different league. But the S24 Ultra has a marginally better build feel overall.

Happy with my S25 Ultra and happy to see the back of the S24 Ultra. 😊
