I'm not sure I've seen a big difference in the camera on my s25 ultra compared to the pixel 7 pro i upgraded from.

Any thoughts on whatever you have upgraded from?

Hello 👋 @neenaw1

Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.

I upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra to the Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra and I can personally see an improvement.

I also appreciate we can all see 👀 different outcomes when it comes to Photo's too.

What difference have you seen 🤔

Have you looked at all the settings in the camera and maybe even the expert raw app.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Don't get me wrong as I haven't had much time to play around with all the settings as yet but I was expecting a lot more moving to the s25 ultra from pixel7 pro

The thing is with the Pixel. The photos have quite a bit of contrast and colour to the images.
Fine for those Instagram posts.
But the S25 Ultra will use a more natural profile.
I have both phones and for me I prefer the S25 Ultra. I have more control over the cameras as well with pro mode and Expert RAW.
But it's personal preference really. Both are good in different ways.
Plus the S25 Ultra has in certain circumstances, the AI helps to improve the image.
Just a matter of getting used to really

I took a lot of shots with my pixel on 10x zoom and they worked out pretty good. What would you say is the best for getting 10x zoom pics on what camera 12. 50 or 200?

It's not something I've explored very much do far.
The cameras on my S24 Ultra were poor because of what I think was a hardware fault.
So I'm just getting used to these.
I tend to stick with 12 Mp at the moment. But I'm playing around with the other settings
Think in any lower light like grey cloudy days. 12Mp seems to have the better results. Probably because the software optimisation is best suited for that setting
But as I say, I'm still playing about with it

Totally agree with @Glenntech here.

We both had S24 Ultra devices bought during pre-order in 2024. We were both disappointed / underwhelmed by them.

We saw a much better camera in the test devices at Samsung Unpacked San Francisco and I for one am seeing an improvement. Not huge but noticeable across the various settings.

I'm happier. 👍

Think you'll find that pixel phones take a more natural looking photo. Samsung are more saturated giving a brighter overall look.

I think I just need to get some time with the cameras outside when I get a few days off work and suss it all out
