So Galaxy Unpacked 2025 was, as well all know in San Jose, California.
What an opportunity to experience Unpacked in another country again.

I have been to America before but only the East Coast area. But to go and stay in San Francisco and see the place that I've only seen in films was going to be amazing.
I know Samsung were going to put on a show and I was eagerly awaiting the flight. This time a number of us were going. As we've met before I knew we were all going to get on.

I must be honest and say I wasn't looking forward to 11 hours in economy. But amazingly the plane was almost empty.

Had a whole row to myself and could stretch out and lye across on all 4 seats.
This made travel much more agreeable.
Even when we got over U.S airspace. I could just move to a window seat and enjoy the view.
Coming into San Francisco was a great view with the cloudless sky. Great view of the mountains flying in and the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz island coming into the airport.

Once checked in we had a bit of time before Orientation and the welcome dinner.
So had a bit of a walk around the city. Chance to see what was around and also stretch our legs after the long flight.
One of the first things that struck me were the Jaguar driverless taxi's. Not something that we see ateast in London.

But it was great to get a view of all the architecture, sights and sounds. Just struck me as a relaxed city compared to frantic London.
Just loved the look of it all.

So the orientation and welcome dinner was a really big surprise for me.
Part of coming on these trips is Samsung plan Missions to do. On this occasion one of those Missions was to talk about our journey to becoming one of the Samsung Members Stars
It was a Pre Mission to complete before leaving for San Francisco.
Now i wasn't really sure what best to put down or where to start. My journey with Samsung is a long one.
So I thought I'd just start with my first Samsung phone and briefly go from there.
On these Samsung Members Connect events. You have a mix of people that include full time social media influencers etc.
So although there was a prize for winning the Pre Mission. I really didn't think i stood a chance.
The way it was described by the host. I actually turned to one of the others and said that's definitely not me and laughed.
Imagine my total surprise as my name was read out.
Surprised wasn't the word 😅. But i was extremely happy and get the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro as the prize. Nice 👌🏻

I have to say that one of the things about these trips is meeting up with other Samsung Members Stars.
Great thing about the Galaxy Phones, is because not everyone can speak English. We can use our phones to have conversations with the translate features. It's great fun as well because not everything translates perfectly that creates amusing moments.

So second day started off early. After being awake for over 24 hours the day before and a 5am get up for breakfast. Thought I'd be worse for wear. But the excitement of being there and all we had in store. I just didn't feel it.
It was quickly off to the Galaxy Unpacked Event.
Only a short hours ride in the coach to the event. Because being 8 hours behind London. Just seemed a bit out of place to be at an Unpacked Event in the morning.
But the anticipation was building. The thoughts of what to expect.
Now im one of those people that don't read the leaks about the new phones. Heard about the a couple of the headline things. But really a lot of the interesting stuff no one really knows.
So as the presentations progressed, I got some good surprises about what to expect with what I will be expecting to get when I got my pre order in.
All too soon the show was over and we could go into the product room to get a close up view of the new Galaxy S25 phones.
We weren't there for long as we will get given devices to try and do an S25 Review
But was definitely interested to compare my S24 Ultra to the S25 Ultra.
Afterwards we had a Members Workshop. Personally I found this fascinating.
Had the head of Product Marketing and the Head of Product Design and Development.
Really interesting to hear from everything from their point of view. It's a view of everything from a different perspective to me, the end user. Great insight to how it all works.
Plus we all got to get hold of the new phones to use for a day. One thing I was really looking forward to was the cameras.
We also needed the phones to do some of the Missions we needed to complete before the last day.
Last part of the day we had the Unpacked Night party.
Got to rub shoulders with some popular YouTubers and Influencers.
Even got to grab a photo with the main man himself.
Next day was what they call an epic tour. We were going around some areas starting with Coit Tower. Some fantastic views over San Francisco and has an interesting history as well.
Visiting the famous Pier 39. Some great colourful things to see and get up close to the Californian Seals. Bigger than I was expecting, and quite noisy.
Was s great chance to use the new phone to really see what it's like to carry around and capture photos etc
The Gala Dinner rounded off the last full day in San Francisco. A lot was packed in and we got a lot done with our Missions. Working together with us three and other Members Stars. Well you may have seen all of our posts on this community.
Next morning we had our awards ceremony for the Missions that ended up being the best of all the posts all the Members Stars from around the world had posted. Some great entrants as well.
Sadly we didn't have long as we needed to catch out flight home.
But really what a trip.
Throughly enjoyed it and meeting all the Members Stars. Some familiar faces and others new.
Again another trip to remember and another bucket list places to tick off.

But it was a busy, packed but truly brilliantly time.
Going with the group we had made the experience even better.
Even our flight home was eventful having to turn back two and a half hours into the flight because of an electrical fault with the plane.
Had to get another plane home.
There's something about going on these trips that has a meaningful effect on you.
With like minded Members Stars, a camaraderie with Stars you've never met before.
It's like you are all friends without ever having met. Working together and all enjoying the experience.
You get to benefit from the knowledge of others to help you out personally. Everyone has something to share to others.
It's an opportunity that I would highly recommend if anyone gets the opportunity to go to an Unpacked Event.
Just loved the whole experience.
