S25 ultra question

where is the nfc chip on the phone because normally its in the middle and i hate that honestly if your hand gets in way and have to hold it in a weird way to pay etc or if you store cards and cash in the case it might also block it, nfc chip being at the top is the best option since you just have to touch the top to the pay or other things without moving ur hand out the way and much easier and comfortable then could help with future features like whatever apple does when u touch 2 phones together something samsung used have have called beam or something.

We might have to wait for the teardowns from creators from YouTube such as JerryRigEverything to show this.

However I'm guessing it'll be like the Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra which is top middle if memory serves. 

Ive never had any jssues paying at payment terminals using NFC.

I have this issue, the NFC is horrible.  It doesn't work any place i go, im usually wasting 5 minutes of my life trying to get it to work and it just doesn't.  Anyone have any suggestions?

The same issues - S25+

My old S9+ was just perfect if we compare NFC. Probably my new case Nillkin camshield pro case is the reason but anyway I'm not happy with NFC

This is where it says it is, but I can't get Google Wallet or Samsung Pay to work at all. Everything is set up, just nothing happens when placing it near a card reader.

On the S24U I could hover easily around 5cm over the pay terminal, with the NFC sensor being at the top.

For the S25U the radius has decreased a lot and I also need to hold the phone very close to the terminal. Now it's slightly below the middle of the phone.

I'm using my phones caseless, so a case is not the issue here.

The same. I have to try 8 to 9 times at every places to get it work and in some machines it even doesn't get accepted and show error code. The worst phone I have even bought from Samsung with the cheapest hardware, no BT on S Pen and 3 month old security patch. How come this company going so far down day by day. Their collapse must be inevitable

It takes 8-9 attempt to make a payment. Even £300 A series phones have a better NFC than this and doesn't put me in embarrassment during payment. Worst I've ever bought from Samsung. I mean worst in everything including battery life, hardware and software. Even Samsung music randomly plays two tracks simultaneously. I have never in my life experienced issues with such basic functions of a phone from Samsung. Not even 6 years ago from Note10+. This year is going to be a nightmare for me for this phone.

The same. I am now regretting what a terrible mistake I made by buying this broken phone with such a cost and giving a good working phone via trade in program. This such a deal breaker for me! These cost cutting measures will bring this company down if it ever happens.

Same issue here. I also today with Google wallet couldn't pay with NFC on S25 Ultra. Tried for 30 secs. With S24Ultra 2 weeks ago there was no problem. Could someone from Samsung have a look, as it seems that it is a device issue.
