My S25 ultra doesn't allow me to change the background effect when recording in portrait video mode, the circle icon is there, but no options come up when I press it, just the effect strength slider? Are the options ment to be there?
It's strange that they're there in portrait photo though but not the video mode? I wonder if all S25s are the same? Am worried something is wrong with my device?
No, nothing to worry about. It's obvious to me this is pre release software on our current devices, it'll all be much better ironed out come the official launch date.
It is now April 26 2025. We have had at least 2 firmware updates on S25 Ultra, and still we are missing the additional effects in portrait video mode. I also have an S24 ultra with UI7 and the options are available in it, so it looks like the "issue" (hoping it is an issue and not a hardware limitation by design) only affects S25 Ultra (I don't know about plus and regular s25). I'd like to get clarification from someone at samsung.
