S25 Ultra Charging issues

Hello Samsung Team,

I purchased my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra about a month ago. During the first two weeks, my phone was charging perfectly fine. However, in the third week, I started facing two major issues related to charging:

1. Dust and Debris Warning

I constantly received a warning about dust and debris in the charging port, despite using the phone for only three weeks. This issue prevented me from charging my phone for 1–2 days, which was extremely frustrating. Eventually, the problem resolved itself, but then another, even more frustrating issue appeared.

2. Super Fast Charging Not Working After Update

After a recent software update, my Super Fast Charging feature stopped working. My phone now only supports normal charging, even when using a 45W charger with a 5A cable.

I have tried unplugging and replugging the charger multiple times, but the issue persists. Due to this, charging my phone up to 80% (due to Maximum Battery Protection) takes significantly longer, which is frustrating.

Super Fast Charging Option Disappeared from Settings

Before the update, I could enable or disable Super Fast Charging in Settings > Battery > Charging. However, after the update, this option has completely disappeared from the settings menu. Many users in the community are reporting similar charging issues after the update.

Samsung, please acknowledge and resolve this issue as soon as possible by pushing a fix in an upcoming update. This is a serious inconvenience, and we need a solution urgently.

There is no option called Super Fast Charging after the update.

There's a known issue with the official 45w charger and the 5a cable. It also affects some third party chargers. Do not use a 5a cable, use a 3a cable. Samsung italy said an update to fix it will come at some point. But 5a cables cause charging issues with the s25

Also about super fast charging not appearing. Fast charge means super fast charge as well. To be quick, fast charge and super fast charge are the exact same thing just with a slight tweak in how charging works. So they made it a single toggle. (The tweak is super fast charge uses PPS)

Back to the 5a cable issue. Before the s25, phones used 10v 4.5a to get 45w. 4.5a is more than 3a so 5a rated cables were needed. The s25 line got an upgrade of 15v 3a charging. This allows you to run 45w over a normal cable. The issue is using a 5a cable, the phone gets confused on if it should use 15v or 10v so it just doesn't charge correctly

You are also right but this issue persist when I am using the OME cable.

The dust and moisture warning is new to this known issue so I've kinda been avoiding that.

The 5a cable charge issue happens almost every time when using the official 5a cable and official charger. It's a phone software issue.

For the dust warning, that happens when the pins inside your charge port make contact with each other. I don't really have much more to add other than say the phone is detecting pins making electrical contact with each other. Might be dust, moisture, something else, I can't say.

 

Oh, with how new your device is, it'll still have warranty. So if it a fault with the device, samsung should fix or replace it.

Also very much sidenote, final season/episodes of one piece are due soon. Creator said it is a real tangible object so it won't be a "the one piece was the friends we made along the way" sorta thing

There has never been an option for Superfast charging on the S25 series. The update never changed that.

I am trying to find a way to activate the feature for super fast charging. My charging is taking ages to charge it

It does sound like your troubles are being caused by a defect or as suggested, damaged connectors inside your phones USB port. I don't think software is the problem, so these settings will not change the situation. I would suggest if possible to try out another fast charger if you have access to one.
