Once a few rides I am receiving an error from the infotainment that there is a confirmation needed on my phone but there is no prompt on my phone.
On my phone everything looks like connected and working. The only one thing that comes before this error is a notification sound on my phone - but still no prompt, popup, anything.
The only way to solve this issue is to restart the whole infotainment system because deleting paired devices after the problem occurance is not working anymore. After a restart everything works (no confirmation needed, it just connects immediately)
I have tried:
- cleaning android auto cache
- trying multiple versions of android auto from 14.4 to 14.8 (some of them seemed to help a little but still eventually the error occured)
- battery set to unlimited for android auto
- car removed from Bluetooth devices
- removing phone from cars Bluetooth list
- infotainment factory reset
- all possible configurations in developer settings in android auto
- factory reset of both phone and car
Issue occurs usually after another ride during the day, like android auto session is not closed and car tries to renew it
I have Tiguan III and Samsung Galaxy s25 Ultra.
I moved from iphone 15 pro max where I had 0 issues with carplay and this car, also this error did not occur with s24.
