Anyone else having issues with their camera on S25 Ultra?
Anytime I try to take a snap, I can only take good pics below x5.
Anything above x5 is super blurry and looks ultra processed.

Called support today about it and the lady was an absolute unit of a nonsense person. Took it personal and scolded me. She said I can try a factory reset to se if it fixes it or send my phone to repair and remain without a phone until then. Absolute heap of nonsense.
Left the call dumbfounded and very disappointed.

Ive been a long term Samsung fan and brag about buying all my appliances and smarphones from Samsung for ages.
Zero customer loyalty and service.
Extremely disappointed.

When you zoom in a lot, your human movement can add a lot of blur. I'd say try to be as still as you can. As an extra measure, enable " prioritise focus over speed" in camera assistant (might need downloading). Yes its not an amazing solution but it might help. Also remember the s25 series haven't had a single update yet (in the uk). So we're using the first public version of the software. Any strange issues have a decent chance of being fixed with updates

Took those today. I believe one is 10x and the other is maybe 15x. Might help you compare image quality. Also remember how close your subject is to you matters. You might select 5x or 10x zoom, but if your subject is quite close, the phone will automatically pick the best camera for the job. So 15x has the chance of using the ultra wide camera for close subjects. Oh and I have all my processing on so the phone does everything it wants to to improve my images.

(Images look better locally, Samsung is compressing them for this reply)20250222_172216_1000016222_1740244939.jpg20250222_172210_1000016221_1740244931.jpg

I understand that it can get a bit blurry with movements. But this ain't normal surely. 😕 Even my Note 20 ultra takes better pics. 20250222_181704_1000058822_1740248227.jpg20250222_185522_1000058837_1740250524.jpg20250222_185525_1000058838_1740250527.jpg

Maybe Samsung needs to check this for you. My pictures look like that only if I move. It's strange behaviour, unless you don't stay still when you are using the camera. As Arianwen27, use 'prioritise focus over speed' function, it helps the camera to stay focused compared to when you are not using that option. In my opinion, this phone's pictures look less processed than S24U, I thought it's standard from factory settings. I also have some processing enabled, to help me get better results than if it wouldn't be enabled.

Hi.

There is something about the S25 ultra that it kinda goes for a macro (closeup shot) you will notice the flower 🌼 at the bottom left when taking photos of subject which are too close.

Yeah it seems so. Ive download camera assistant and heck focus over speed but no luck. I'm so disappointed with all of this. 20250222_192950_1000058845_1740252591.jpg20250222_192213_1000058842_1740252135.jpg20250222_192939_1000058843_1740252580.jpg

I'm far enough i think since it's only x5. It expect pixelation if it's x50 x100 or x200 for sure.
