on one side vivo came with 200mp telephoto lens, 6000 mah battery  while samsung released it's s25 ultra without any major hardware updates/ but down graded s25 ultra spen.

Does s9, s10 has spen within phone frame? No, they can still add spen with special case design.  But they choosed to downgrade. If you need to remove Spen to accomidate sensors, new lenses, we do welcome it but not by downgrading it. At least I expect s26 ultra to come with hard ware upgrades and  a  bluetooth enabled working s pen.  As a fan of samsung, and  as I donot want to move to chinese mobiles I am forced to wait for S26 ultra. Donot dissapoint us next year.  Stay updated in the race!

I'd say it isn't dissapointment. For some people who likes rounded corner device, with or without S-Pen it is major changes. For some existing users it isn't good news. I prefer Note/Ultra series with square corners and bluetooth S-Pen. I'm not so in AI, which doesn't makes for me sense.

The newer chip has 30% faster CPU, 37% faster GPU, and 40% faster NPU speeds compared to last year's flagship.
To me, that's incredible. But we can aknowlege besides that and the AI features its not exactly a huge upgrade unless you're doing heavy tasks

It's still a great phone and I've already noticed many improvements over the S24 Ultra. Design wise I prefer the S24 Ultra though, so Samsung please square off the design and stop following Apple.

The only disappointment I have with Samsung S25U is the missing feature of the Bluetooth SPen, I just got my hands on one and I can't just tell what a lovely phone it is, the screen is large and bright and comfortable to the eye, more comfortable than my S24U due to round edges, it's fast and smooth, faster than the S24U and as a user of S24U which is a terrific phone, the S25U is even better undeniably, the camera looks looks great too, but not that greatly improved from the S24U, I mean, I don't feel a great difference, except that of course, it's got a 50x optical zoom, vs my phone, which has 5x optical zoom; I was still in between keeping the S25U and ditch the S24U but the moment I took the SPen out and tried to snap a picture with it and it didn't work, I thought, the S24U is still worth keeping, we've been through the good and the worst together so far and we had a great time, and we will still keep going for a long time. Other than this, I am not truly interested in other brands, I hope Samsung will get back to their senses and bring back the Bluetooth functionality of the SPen, and even do something about it on the S25U ASAP. It's the only thing I truly care about Samsung's Ultra line phones at the present moment. 😭 😭 😭 💔 💔 💔

And tbh, if I am looking forward next year or so years to upgrade my phone, I do expect an upgrade in the camera hardware. IT'S REALLY DUE!!
Than you...🥲

Hi Joeeye,

Maybe from now on we should be able to customise our phone shape when we order, because I find round corners to be more comfortable to look at.😂

I am assuming our OP 'first time poster' has not had any hands on time with an S25 ultra and nor ordered one.

I think the vast majority of customers that have in fact ordered and started using an S25 ultra are suitably impressed.

Marketing specifications don't always tell a story with the user experience and actual day to day use.

Everything I have tried to use this phone so far including AAA gaming and it has handled it admirably.

Personally I am very impressed with my jump from S23u to S25u and no regrets 👌 😉

I have had Xiaomi, OnePlus and Honor phones.

Although the hardware is better on those phones, I always come back to Samsung simply because of software and customer service.

Remember VIVO phones are not available in the UK unless you import or buy from abroad.

So if you buy one for say £700, you will not be able to trade it in, in the UK. You gotta sell it privately- would it be sold for a good price? Even if it is a Global ROM, you wont be able to trade it in.

Then if you need the phone fixed, u gotta send it abroad unless u can find someone in the UK who wont charge loads!

I think Samsung is really slacking here. And removing the Bluetooth features from the S Pen was a huge mistake. They see only 1% of people used it which I feel is not true based off of how many people are complaining about the future being removed on the s25 ultra and some people are even only upgrading from their s21, 22, or 23 to the 24 Ultra just because it doesn't have the Bluetooth features.

I think maybe it's more along the line that everybody uses the Bluetooth S Pen features but only 1% of the time.

Like having a toolbox with a hammer, a measuring tape, a screwdriver, a drill, etc you don't use it everyday but when you do need it it's nice to have.

Also not only that it looks like the charging feature for the S-Pen is still in the 25 Ultra and they just decided not to put the Bluetooth capabilities into the S Pen which is a bigger slap in the face as Jerry rig everything did a tear down video and showed the same charging ribbon cable it is used in the previous Ultra phones and the note phones to charge Bluetooth s pen.
