S25 Ultra missing Amazon music on Android Auto

So I have been using my S23 Ultra in my car for years now, connected via cable for Android Auto. I've never had issues with being able to choose Amazon music as my music app of choice, however, on this phone the app isn't even listed in the 'customise launcher' section. I have managed to get the app to work by doing the following
1. Open Amazon music on phone and start playing a track.
2. Connect the cable in the car.
3. This plays media, but then need to disconnect cable and reconnect for Amazon music to appear on Car screen.

Anyone else having this problem or am I just special?

Suggestions on how to fix this would be much appreciated.

PS I can plug the S23 Ultra in and there are still no problems.

Go to settings, connected devices, android auto and scroll to bottom. Click on version 8 times to enable developer options. Then click on three dots in top right corner and developer settings. I turned off wireless android auto at the top and that seemed to work. It may not work, but worth a go.

Thanks, will try that when I jump in the car later.

Unfortunately it was the same result. However, playing around a bit more, I have managed to shorten the process. Play a song and hit pause, when I then connect Amazon music works straight away.
