Hey peeps I would like some honest feedback confirming if the newer phone is a better upgrade, I know I'm going to lose the s.pen Bluetooth for taking my pics that's a bummer I'm trying to say cheese or smile as the palm showing doesn't work half the time like 1in 10 times it might.
Is the camera better so the colours are more natural and not over sharpened and exposes and what the reds look like...... I've also got to use motion pics now as the kid moves too much my fruit phone captures that better for sure but I do love sammys as well...
So I use both but want to stick to one of I can ...
Tha KS in advance you lovely peeps x.

So, the physical cameras are all the same, except the ultra wide is 50mp. The display has smaller bezels (though with a good case that doesn't matter). The processor is way faster for compute and ai (though the s24 processor is still fast). The image processor within the cpu is better, meaning even with the same cameras, images can be processed to look better (though the s24's image processor is still good). The images have a lot more ai thrown at them for processing, does that improve them? Have a look at comparisons/personal opinion. Telephoto shots should be better as the ai does some magic to make detail. Macro and ultra wide shots will have a lot more detail

Those I'd say those are the main differences assuming both phones are running one ui 7. They are kinda the same device just the s25u has minor improvements and a new generation of processor.

In my opinion, moving from the s22u or s23u is probs worth the upgrade. S24u to s25u probs isn't worth it. If you can get an s24u at a really good price, go for it.

I went from the s24 ultra to the s25 ultra and in my opinion, the s25 ultra is better, faster, smoother and has way better features. Plus when one ui 7 does hit older devices, they won't get all the features we have

Is it an upgrade? Yes absolutely, better camera, better CPU in every way and other than the lack of Bluetooth S-Pen, there is no objective downside besides personal aesthetics.

Is it worth it? I'd say it depends on your needs and expectations based on your budget. Worth is relative so no one can decide what makes it worth it to you.

In my opinion it all comes to your form-factor preference, consider them practically the same phone which will eventually have the same SW experience, one with rounded corners and flat edges and the other with sharp corners and rounded edges.

For me I didn't like the S24U form factor coming from the S23U, the flattened screen combined with the sharp corners felt very big and inconvenient in the hand, the S25U on the other hand feels better in the hand, lighter and more ergonomic which I like much better,

For me going from the S23U to the S24U to the S25U, in hindsight it wasn't worth even moving from the S23U, it was a great phone, I would still be happy with it today.

Short story, its not worth it if you are happy with the S24U

If you are getting a good deal . I'd say go for it if not just wait it out until you get a good deal.

You should have switched during the reorder stage.

Benefits over the s24 ultra...

1. Rounded corners
2. Better and newer CPU
3. 4k video on all lenses.
4. One UI 7 seems a lot better compared to the beta I had on my S24 ultra. Although there were no issues with that as well.
5. I find colours are more consistent with the different lenses.
5. 50MP is more usable but slower for some reason which is a bummer as I'd love to shoot 50MP all the time.
6. Screen is definitely improved.

Hope the above helps 😊
