Was really disappointed to see the Bluetooth feature on the s pen is not available for the S25 ultra.. that was a gold feature for me .. not everyone has someone to take pictures of them. The s-pen was my picture taking companion and samsung took that away in a phone that is supposed to be an upgrade .. how are you upgrading when you're taking important features away . Why do I have to spend money to buy external shooter devices when my S-pen could easily do that.. i almost returned the S25 to keep my S24 but I'm hoping samsung would correct this big error

It's not an error.
There's been plenty of posts here about it. But less than 1% of users regularly used the Bluetooth feature. Probably far less with occasional usage.
I am one that used the Bluetooth for remote shutter button. But there are a number of other ways to get photos.
Wether the Bluetooth will return. I suspect not.
Although less than 1% used it, and that still a lot of people. Sadly in the bigger view of it all it's no where near enough to keep the feature

You can get a Bluetooth key for trigger for less than £5 online. That way you save £45 (probably more as not including internal hardware costs) on your phone cost for having an expensive version of pen just to take photos.

1% it's still over 160k of people that did use it. It's been done to force people to buy there overpriced ring or watch for same feature is plain shady. Nothing to do with cost cutting or saving weight or space as battery is same as it's been for years. It's still extra £5 or so you shouldn't have to fork out for spending over £1300 on a flagship. It's the blatant fact they didn't even mention it till after launch that people are most cross with so much for transparency. They are taking after apple in every way now. Shame on them.

It's not their business is people want to use the features on a device they paid for .. does that mean if people stop using their cameras they'll take the cameras out too.. it doesn't make any sense ..

If I pay for a device its not Samsung business if I want to use it or not .. that excuse is just ridiculous and annoying

Yeah that's how I see it too it's as bad as dealerships pushing ev cars onto folks who want a petrol or diesel lol. Personal choice is called that for a reason. I wouldn't put it past them doing something like that I'd say the spen itself is for the chop as less and less will use it now because of the loss of it's Bluetooth. The stats will be enough for them to say ok let's get rid. Probably won't be at all on the s26 which means it loses a key thing that makes them unique in the market. Shooting themselves in both feet and head at same time. If I was the CEO of samsung I'd resign out of pure shame and loss of honour.

I think before concluding that people don't use a particular feature they need to first research how many people are aware of such features .

It's not Samsung forcing you yo buy the phone, it's you as a user. I get the dissapointment but complaining that Samsung are wrong is just silly. You either buy their stuff if you like it or you don't. Whining over whether they are right to do it or not is nonsense. They have every right to choose what goes into their phone, not you or me for that matter. We choose if we like it, and buy it, it's as simple as. They could always just scrap the S-Pen whilst keeping the price the same as they use to 4 years ago. Would that please you?
