I just relearned a feature that I had forgotten about.

Every night at dinner, I have to go to Settings / Connections / Bluetooth, find my Logitech BT Adapter and enable Audio (to connect my powered speakers for background music).

If you go to Settings and Search for the feature you want, in my case, a shortcut to a Bluetooth setting, you simply long press on whatever you want to use as a Home screen widget.

When you Search for a specific setting in Settings, you'll see one or more search results.  You simply long press on the search result you want and add that to your Home page.

I saw a Facebook Short video that reminded me of that feature.  As you were ...

Did you type in a search word in the Search function in Settings, the magnifying glass?

It doesn't work on my wife's phone either, though she still has One UI 6.1.

That feature works under One UI  7.  If you have One UI 7, I'm at a loss to understand why that feature doesn't work for you.

You can also do this with the camera, create widgets for video, selfie etc by long pressing on the camera app
