I've tried all known methods. Every time I get an error message "the file is not supported".

Is this a known bug in the one ui 7.0 or is it just me?

I had a bunch of images as my lock screen wallpaper on my s22 ultra and it carried to the new s25 ultra. Apparently it had some issues with thoss images as it didn't let me enter editing mode.

After setting up a new set of images as my lock screen wallpaper I now can access the editing mode as usual.

Thanks for the help.

File type not supported suggests you're trying to set an image as your screen lock. Make sure the image is a supported format like png or jpeg

Hi, file not supported? Are you trying to set the wallpaper to something? Search up "(Image format) To PNG" and convert the image into an PNG then try, if it doesn't work, try backuping your data to an SD card/USB stick with an OTP adapted and plug into an PC, check if there are any files in the Lock screen folder. There should be an ".PNG_" file in the folder, if there isn't, try factory reset ing then using the backup to restore your files (this will delete folders) and now there will be files in your Device
