recovery mode issue

I have an s25 ultra. After latest update camera is not as sharp.

I was advised to clear the cache but the power and volume up button solution does not work. I was then told to plug phone into pc but I have macbook pro. I did plug it in but still doesnt work.

The process should be. Plug phone into a laptop/something. Shut phone down (it's fine if it was already off). Hold volume up and power, release when the samsung logo appears.

Trying another device might help, a mac might be being funky.

Also make sure the cable you're using can actually transfer data and isn't charge only. Eg, I just tried it using a charger and it didn't work. I used it connected to my pc and it did work.

The process is quite specific
Think it also depends recently on what you connect to
My S25 Ultra seems to work fine connecting to my samsung smart tv
Listed below are the steps in case you have missed any

Turn off your phone.

Connect your phone with a USB cable

To PC or another Samsung mobile or smart TV

You will see the charging icon on your screen.

Wait till it shows charging with battery percentage.

Next, press and hold the Volume up and Side key simultaneously.

You can press the volume up button just before the Side key.

The Samsung Logo followed by

Samsung Galaxy appears on the Screen.

At this point, release the keys

Phone will boot into Android Recovery mode

In Android recovery mode, using Volume keys, choose “Wipe Cache Partition” .

Use the power button to accept that.

You will then see its cleared.

Then the top option, reboot phone.

Press the power button to reboot the phone and then sign in normally

Best of it was I took my fingers off both buttons when logo appeared and quickly put it back on volume up and bingo 😂 couldn't make it up. Been at it for hours on and off. Hopefully camera will be back to normal.
