hello everyone :smiling-face:

just wondering if I am the only one who cares ... but does anyone else have this issue?

I had the RCS (chat function) on my "old" S22 working normally on the Samsung Messages app. Then I switched to the S25 and since then I don't have the RCS function - I can't see, if the messages were delivierd, read or seen. I turned it on and off, still nothing. I contacted my service provider (with many examples) and they told me "no logs from the upstream provider matching the provided timestamps". I even tried switching to Google Messages, the same issue - RCS not working, number "vefying". I even opened an issue with Google, NOTHING 😞

Is it just me or is this a general Google issue?

I'm afraid my experience isn't good and what I said is what I found.

If I sent an RCS message, they didn't always arrive.
When friends replied and I had RCS, nothing came in but as soon as I turned RCS back on, instantaneously they came through.

It wasn't reliable.
Got rid.
Not having it again.

Yess I care!  This exact thing has happened to me as well.  I upgraded to S25 from S22 and  RCS just keeps saying Verifying.  And you can only try it so many times a day before it locks you out.

Download "Carrier Services" from the Play store and launch it. This will take care of your issue. It basically tells Google Messages who your carrier is and sets it up for RCS. Once you launch it and then go back into Google Messages you'll see RCS is activated.

Hi! I'm having so many issues and I don't know what to do. I am with Verizon and had a Samsung Note 20. I upgraded to the Samsung 25 Ultra on Thursday 2/27. Since receiving my new phone, I have been unable to receive texts that come in a group message (I think I'm getting all individual messages, but cannot know for sure). I went back to the VZW store and they told me all configurations on my phone and network are correct and to reach out to Google. When I tried chat, Google told me they have no one to support those features. I have no idea what to do. Does anyone have suggestions?

Thank you for your suggestion. I download Carrier Services and had RCS chats restored.

Same with me. I recently had to upgrade from my S10 and zero issues. Now the RCS chat rarely works, takes at least a few minutes to switch to SMS/MMS. Really disruptive to communication.

(Also the obvious Bluetooth issues are p***ing me off)
