No alphabetical order possible in horizontal view. For now

I've written this before, the free MS Launcher has the option to a vertical scroll for the apps ... and alphabetically. You also have a lot of control over the icon size and grid. The grid for the Home page can go up to 12 by 12.
The Dock (the bottom row of icons on your Home page(s), allow you to see an additional two rows of icons.
This is a free launcher and easy to figure out.

Exactly how can you change the ui directly in newer updated without giving an option to go back to the users,
I am accustomed to the alphabetical pages layout, I have every app location memorized, I could have opened them with my eyes closed, now it is totally ruined

Right? This is actually total BS. There needs to be the option to choose between vertical-custom, verticle-alphabetical, horizontal-custom, and horizontal-alphabetic. Completely removing the feature that we've all been used to for so long is absolutely absurd and I don't understand why they would do that.

Exactly now my horizontal scroll is totally mess,
I have to customise 200+ apps manually in alphabetical order, which is really irritating

I swear this one change may be enough for me to switch to a Pixel phone. Just give us an option in settings to go back to a paged alphabetical UI. You have settings to revert to other prior UI experiences, why not this?

Just updated to the new UI and having the same frustration. I loved the grid scroll and felt it was easier to navigate to what I was looking for. It's so crazy they don't give you the choice other than manually organizing them now.

Loved the alphabetically sorted GRID/PAGE SCROLL. Why would Samsung mess with a long present feature, which is used everyday by its users for years. This single blunder diluted my whole joy/experience of the OneUI 7 upgrade.

I'm surprised there was no consideration for those individuals with motor disabilities who have difficulty with free-scrolling interfaces. Having the old horizontal scrolling allowed for learning motor plans to access apps: if an app is at (2,2) on page 3, you can learn to access it with your eyes closed. But with vertical scrolling, the scroll speed is different every time you use it and you can't learn a motor plan. The option to choose the horizontal scrolling, page by page, and in alphabetical order is critical for such people.
