My new S25 is dropping wireless connection constantly. My old S21 kept right next to it is perfectly fine.

Wifi6e

The only connection change i see is S25 - WPA3 connection while S21 - WPA/WPA2.

It keeps saying WPA3 connection is required.

I have Xfinity. The latest gigabit connection and latest router.

Any help would be appreciated.

It seems that S25 has issues with WPA3 and/or PMF security settings. As far as I know for 6GHz this has to be activated. So you could try to disable 6GHz on the router and set it to WPA2 (PMF deactivated) until there is a fix for this by Samsung.

im having similar issues on my s25 ultra, where I lose wifi connection or apps state Internet connection lost although phone shows connected to wifi, issue happens at both home and work, im noticing issue to happen more often. other devices are connected fine on the networks my phone is connected to, issue seems to resolve itself after a short time or after a reboot, seen many people report similar issues, maybe samsung should look into this further

One resolution was very simple on a S25 Ultra... the date & time we're not set to 'Auto'... perhaps if you are travelling to another timezone or the following setting is not set to 'Auto': to fix it, go to Settings; General management & go to Date and time... once there make sure the Automatic date and time toggle is turned on.

One note is that perhaps this device was not updated while the 'Software update' set to Auto-download via Wi-Fi but had not been installed for a few days or more. Voila! Thank me later 😊

Hi all,

I step into this problem the first couple of months I had my S25, i wrote to italian Samsung support and they asked me to factory reset the device and surprising this has resolved the problem.
I don' know if reset could help some other of you.

You can use s25ultra with wifi7+wpa3 after factory reset? Or did you disable wifi7 as a result of factory reset and wifi works fine?
