Just wondering what others thinks when upgrading S24 Ultra to S25 Ultra, using S25 Ultra since yesterday, to be honest didn't feel much difference, and most annoyed thing which was a key distinct for Ultra phone, S Pen, which had 0.7 mm tip with S24 Ultra and 1.5 mm with S25 Ultra, I mean instead going for improvement, Samsung started downgrading.
Not really impressed with new launch. Seems old phone with new little bit change packaging...

I have been consistently underwhelmed with the cameras on S24 Ultra so for me yes it is worth the upgrade

Plus all the new AI features.

It is far too early for new users to have really got up grips with all their new devices can do
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

My device is an S25 Ultra.

Really? I have literally just posted how much more precise I find the s pen to be, it feels much better, having said that, I have a matte screen protector so that might be helping. I wish everyone would stop saying Samsung have downgraded, how is a change in the tip size of the spen a downgrade?! Even taking away the BT function of the spen isn't a downgrade imo, yes it was handy for those who used it but there are countless other ways of taking pics. I can only assume that as a manufacturer, Samsung have raised the bar so high, that for some people any change is going to be seen as a negative. I know there isn't much difference, and randomly, despite the s25 ultra being smaller than the S24ultra, it's feels chunkier to me, that's not going to make me send it back though

Hi @usmananjum

Upgrading is a personal decision.

Some feel this us an incremental update for people who have the s²³ Ultra and s²⁴ Ultra.

In my instance when considering I looked at the specs on both phone's ,and the current condition of my Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra,  and that my phone will soon receive One Ui⁷.

And had hands on at a Highstreet Store.

So after this I decided not to upgrade.

Some will experience buyers remorse too.

Hope that helps.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Review: Great Hardware, Unpolished Software

I recently purchased the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but I’m seriously considering returning it—not because of the hardware, which is excellent, but due to the unfinished and unstable state of One UI 7.

Software Issues:

Widgets are nearly unusable—the new design forces non-Samsung apps to undergo major changes just to align properly.

Screen rotation is misaligned, making it frustrating to use.

Samsung Pass is now part of Samsung Wallet, which feels unnecessary and inconvenient.

App drawer scrolling has changed from left-to-right to up-and-down, making navigation feel unfamiliar and unintuitive.

Notifications are a mess—Samsung has adopted a swipe-down-from-the-left gesture similar to iPhones and Chinese brands, which doesn’t feel natural.

The new Quick Settings panel (top-right) now requires vertical scrolling for quick access buttons, which reduces usability.

Overall, while the hardware is top-notch, One UI 7 feels unpolished and disrupts core functionalities. If Samsung doesn’t refine the software soon, this may be a dealbreaker for many users.

Notifications swipe part can be edited in settings to the original if you want that.

It's a personal opinion. I'm upgrading because of financial reasons (my posts explain) and because I don't play Harry Potter with the Spen. I primarily use the Spen for writing, drawing, navigation and gameplay (used to it being thinner than my bloody sausage fingers LMAO)

As for IS the upgrade worth it? No, ultimately the S24 Ultra will stay strong for another 6 years and updates will continue for those 6 years which in my opinion doesn't mean upgrading for at least 2 to 3 years.

Design-wise is ur personal opinion too. I think both are amazing however the S24 Ultra is very uncomfortable for me to hold and although I do have quite big hands the corners dig into my skin too much and jogging and running the corners dig into my legs which I do not enjoy.

Overall? Yes and No. The upgrade is as I said your opinion if you see any benefits to it then by all means go for it. If not then the S24 Ultra is fine for a good while. Don't let others tell you differently whatever you go for is your opinion.
