Turn.ON.your sim card. Or data. Or wi-fi. 🙄
How did you expect anything to show up when you're not even connected to the internet?🙄
you must restart phone too, because notifications will not refresh automatically 🙄
Of course you see details when you take screenshot. For taking a screenshot you don't need internet, with offline translation you don't need internet too 🙄

Notifications are cached. Meaning they're stored locally. You will still have the the text content of a notification when you have a no WiFi. All that will happen is you won't receive new notifications.
The issue here, is I was "screen recording" and Samsung has silently added a feature that hides notification content for privacy. If just turned off "screen recording", it'll show them again... even without WiFi enabled... even without restarting the device.
Oh, and please don't delete your comment. I think it's useful for other people to see your personality.

@MyNameIsTim: It's possible that it is a built in/automatic security feature to protect your personal data wile you are screen recording. To me, it looks like the the notification layout when you have 'Hide content' enabled in the Lock screen notification settings. Do the notifications show as normal when you're not translating or screen recording?
