New S25 Ultra, and I can't figure this out. Added a card to Google Wallet. It says it's setup correctly, everything is ticked, NFC on, Wallet is default, etc. however when I go to pay, nothing happens. Only when I open Google Wallet does it spring to life and work. It's not a verification issue, just nothing happens at all, as if the phone hasn't registered a card reader is present.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and all that, but not something I can easily test, as I have to go and buy another coffee every time but it still fails to respond when waving it over a card reader. Any suggestions?

Hello 👋 @Chistery
I sometines find when using Google Wallet I have to confirm my identity via using my fingerprint however it does launch.
This might be something to raise with your chosen card issuer to ask and also to liase with Google.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hi. Yes, I would have to verify my identity, but every other phone I have will alert me to it when I try and pay and prompt me to authenticate. I'll try tomorrow with another card from a different issuer as default and see how that goes.

Added a new card as default, tried a different shop. Still no. Phone unlocked with fingerprint (so should have 2 mins to use Google Wallet), and nothing happens when trying to pay. Even opening Google Wallet didn't work this time.

I did, but I have multiple android phones with the same cards and they all work fine.

Samsung ran some diagnostics, no issues found. Want me to call back when I'm standing in a shop and trying to pay.

After several days of blaming me, Samsung have now agreed to replace my phone. I have to send mine back, wait 7-10 days and a new phone should appear (hopefully).
