I can confirm that this happens to only MasterCards on my side.
I would gladly use Samsung Pay and I am. However, theres just that 1 Mastercard which only supports Google Wallet right now, and it can't be added.
I guess waiting is the solution??

Same problem. I have tried every single different algorithm even resorting to a forced reboot. Nothing works! I think all we can do is wait for the next software update which has to address this problem that many people are experiencing.

Honestly, I'm completely fine waiting for an update.
What I would actually like is someone to acknowledge the problem, so we can anticipate a fix for real.

I'm having the same issue (Feb 25, 2025).
I decided to clear play services and re-install wallet. I can't add any cards now.
