FIX TO WHATSAPP NOT WORKING ON S25/S24

So a lot of people faced issue with whatsaap recently, it's not opening properly or it gives you error message, and it closes with "app not responding" message (s24, s25 series) owners suffers this the most 

While whatsaap stated this for s25 series users ill share few tips you can do to get it back and working:

1. Settings >apps > storage > clear data and wipe cache 

2. Uninstall app and instead getting from play store download APK file from OFFICIAL whatsapp page :

3. Use whatsaap business app while this issue is resolved with new updates.

Hope it helps for people who's struggling with whatsaap on their s25 series or other devices.

The suggestion of downloading applications outside of the Google Play Store or Galaxy Store poses a major security risk and Google does not recommend it. It is not without reason that downloading applications from the web is disabled. Even if it is Facebook. Which has security problems anyway.

Unfotunatelly it didnt work for me.  I made a backup, uninstalled old whatsapp (that was not opening media files) and when i tried to reinstall it gave me the message the I cound not install.   Ok  , then i did what you sugest here.  My the message now is:  as the packet seems invalid the app was not installed.

So your whatsapp was working apart from not opening media files? Is there error you getting while trying to open files on whatsapp? Could you elaborate more?

Fortunately, I had no issues when using Smart Switch to transfer WhatsApp recently.

I have a check list that I follow for things to do before transferring from an older phone to a newer phone.  (I realize this isn't your issue, but it's worth mentioning just the same.)

Before I transfer from an older phone to a newer phone, I first open WhatsApp on the older phone - three dots, Settings, Chats, Chat backup.

Download from whatsapp directly don't work for S25+. Also problem with whatsapp:

1. Create avatar by selfie photo not working as after taking photo , picture shows green stripes as sayng avatar generation error.  

2. Sending stickers to message not working even click the stickers to put on message not working. 

3. Contact list user icons blinking every few seconds.

I have uninstall & reinstall few times,  still not fixed. I have clear cache, problem is clear data as it goes to manage storage folder showing lists. So cannot clear it.

 

 So what's the problem even i asked whatsapp support as they don't answer correctly..

avatar is fixed as can see selfie photo but getting avatar generation error fro updating latest version, however problem still when making video message, open screen then shuts down itself, had to do it again opens ok. 

so still bugs with whatsapp

 hello dear, even to me it is happening on s25 ultra that when I listen to the voices I flash the images of the contacts, you have solved the problem? if so how? I tried to reinstall whatsapp several times but without result, I thought it was the phone but everything else is fine, and before doing a hard reset (which maybe does not solve anything) I wanted to understand some other method. Thank you.
