Hi guys. I've been using my fitbit and was wondering if there's a way to connect the steps etc from there to Samsung health at all? I tried the sync app and it said there is no way to add the steps over? Does this mean that Samsung are only going to sync their own smartwatches to the app? I prefer the interface of the Samsung but dont want a Samsung watch due to not wanting to charge it everyday

There isn't an official way to sync Fitbit to Samsung Health, but you can use a third- party app like Health Sync or connect Fitbit to Strava and then link Strava to Samsung Health

1. Connect your Fitbit to Strava
2. Link Strava to Samsung Health

If you have issues with that app
Use;
1. Download the Health Sync app from the Google Play Store
2. Open the app and follow the instructions
3. Select Fitbit as the source and Samsung Health as the destination
4. Accept the terms and conditions
5. Select Initialize First Connection
6. Log in to your Fitbit account
7. Choose which health metrics to sync
8. Tap Allow

I only set this up myself an hour or so ago, but no, from everything that I've read, Samsung has blocked importing of step count.

Thank you :). It's a bit annoying to be honest. Maybe if their watches had a much better battery life, they'd be worth getting. Oh well

Just search in the settings in fitbit and samsung health and connect them both to health connect then follow the set up. You may have to download health connect from app store
