First S25 Series Software Update! (February patch)

The Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra have started getting their first software updates in South Korea. The new update (585.9MB in download size) comes with firmware version S93xNKSU1AYB3 and includes the February 2025 security patch that fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities.(Sammobile)

I have an S24U 1tb and only just got the Jan 1st update a few days ago. So I've decided to give the S25 a miss. I'll see if the software support improves for the next new model before considering another upgrade. Samsung devices are great but outdated software is not so great especially in a world full of security issues so a thumbs up from me for devices and a thumbs down for software development and deployment as it undermines the security and performance of the devices. It will be interesting to compare the improvements of the S25 Vs the S24 series to see if there are significant differences

I got devices with 2 years out of date android security and have zero issues or vulnerabilities on them. But it's nice to be informed. Updates are so overrated.

No, Google secured our S24 ultra at the end of January, because Samsung forgot to do it for the whole  S24 ultra in Europe
