I was about to upgrade my phone to the latest flagship device, and although I have been excessively disappointed before by Samsung with their special offers, and free gifts that never happen, I eventually decided to get the s22 ultra, and now it's time to upgrade again, I won't buy apple , but that's a whole different reason. I had planned on getting the latest and greatest phone on the market, but, and here it is, the best phone for me would in fact be the s24 ultra, Not the s25, why would I downgrade to s25 and loose a feature I actually do use, and most days too, for me the spen is why I purchased the s22 ultra when it came out.
I even had to wait for stock before I could get it delivered, but it was a feature I wanted, and use, gestures, remote, and the pen for editing photo's, and writing notes, filling in forms, etc.
I having the ability to use the spen remote while using the camera has been incredibly useful, I don't have a ring, I use an s3 frontier watch, and it's a pain setting it up to use the watch as a remote, I also have gear 5. And an ultra. But the latter 2 watches I keep for best, and don't wear them while working, so the spen was my aid.
I guess it will be either the s24 ultra, or another brand, and just keep the s22 for the features missing from the latest half mast flagship device, shame, I did like the form factor of the new device, and it's design is great, but has an apple kind of feel about it, they often add something, then take it away, rename it and bring it back as a big new feature, but it's just the same thing renamed , of all the new tech available, new battery types, which are brilliant, didn't bother, latest all singing all dancing chips, seems like this was fitted, upgrade to cameras, acceptable, but not much difference to the s24 ultra, giant camera bumps , not sure about these, I guess it's a personal thing, I use a very slim Samsung case, these bumps would protrude.
Even if I actually received a promotion gift for a change with an s25ultra, I don't think it would be the right choice for me, keeping my old s22 feels like a better option, perhaps the new Google phone will be enticing, or the oppo, who knows, you never know, they may bring it back next generation, perhaps I will wait and see, but sadly no s25 ultra for me, I will keep using this one for now, especially as it works properly, and has more functionality, and works with my software for form filling, and can use gestures for skipping to next section, or back, hoping for better things from next generation ultra phone.. just maybe the s26 will be a fully functioning phone with a proper s pen, that has Bluetooth, and a battery, or super capacitor, then I, and many others would be happy again.

Indeed, it is an actual downgrade, so I understand why you feel frustrated. Removing any Bluetooth-related functions diminishes the use of the S Pen to become relevant only to the camera. It looks like Samsung was busy with other trades, but at the cost of this highly loved one.

To remove them, supposedly to cut costs, while maintaining the same premium price for the phone itself, is an insult to your loyal customer base. It demonstrates a complete lack of respect for the features that distinguish your products and a blatant disregard for the value we expect.
Are you seriously suggesting that we should be satisfied with a dumbed-down S Pen, stripped of its smart features? Are you so out of touch with your customers that you believe we won't notice or care about this significant downgrade?
This isn't about saving a few dollars on production; it's about eroding the very features that set your devices apart. It's about undermining the innovation that built your reputation.
I, and many others, rely on the S Pen's Bluetooth functions for productivity and convenience. Removing them is not a minor inconvenience; it's a significant blow to the functionality of the device.
I demand that Samsung reconsider this shortsighted decision. Restore the Bluetooth functionality to the S25 S Pen. Do not sacrifice essential features for marginal cost savings. You risk alienating your most dedicated customers.

What I'm wondering is if you have a bluetooth S pen from a previous model will it fit/work? I'm not upgrading for that reason, I must be part of the only 1% that used it. Without it, there is no point in purchasing the ultra for higher cost

old news im afraid - and Blue tooth wont be returning to the Spen but the Spen will stay. I never used the bluetooth feature so it never bothered me - but I know people were upset by Sammy dropping this.
