Samsung have removed select to speak as an option in accessibility settings.
This is utterly mad.
It's still available on the galaxy tab 10 ultra.
But they've removed it on the new phone.
As a blind user I'm incredibly disappointed. Select to speak was essential!

Hi Vapegirlclouds.
I just had a look in Accesibilty and I saw there is a Talkback option, maybe select to speak has been renamed?
Also I believe that setting has been replaced by Gemini, if you activate Gemini it will work like Alexa but on your phone, if that makes sense.

@Vapegirlclouds  Samsung and Google hav ebeen working closely to provide a unified experience across Android Devices. See more information on the capabilities of Talkback here https://www.samsung.com/uk/sustainability/accessibility/mobile/voice-assistant/

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Hi.
Please check the link JAMES4578 provided as it's the official update from Samsung about Select to Speak being merged with Talkback.
