Extended unlock losing settings

Hi guys my 'extended unlock' keeps turning itself off. I set everything up, on-body detection, on, trusted locations, 2 home and work, trusted devices, watch6, buds, car. Then after a day or 2 it resets itself to all off. Is anyone else experiencing this?

The only solution I'm seeing is trying... "I just started having this problem too, but I think I may have resolved it. Go to Settings -> Extend Lock -> Trusted Places -> Add Trusted Place, then use your finger to move the red pin closer to your neighbor's house (basically, a little further outside your property line) and then tap "Select This Location."

Accuracy: Make sure your location settings are set to "High accuracy" to ensure precise location detection.

Check battery optimization:

Go to your phone's Settings > Battery > Battery optimization.

Ensure that the "Extend Unlock" app is not optimized to save battery, as this can sometimes interfere with its functionality.

This seems to be a common issue. It may be worth providing feedback to Samsung via the Members app.

Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum. 

Try a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.

Feedback can be sent via the Samsung Members App and you then may receive a reply with further help. 

May I suggest to perform a forum search as you may find already existing threads with help and advice within.

"Go to your phone's Settings > Battery > Battery optimization." This section doesn't exist, did you reproduce this on a Samsung S25 before posting this?

I've also looked in Settings > Apps and Settings> Apps> Samsung App Settings, there is no such app called "Extend Unlock".

I did not; I was just quoting posts from that forum.

If these features are no longer available or have been altered, it may be best to simply try a soft reboot by clicking the volume down and power keys simultaneously until the phone restarts.

BofB's, I will give it a try but I have to say I upgraded from the GS24U running beta, and I've had every GS or Gnote since the GS2 bar the uninspiring GS5, I can't remember when Extended Unlock first appeared but I have never had it lose its setting before.

Extend Unlock is in Lock Screea and AOD settings.

Battery Optimisation is in Device Care settings.

Tip: You can search for any setting while you're in the Settings area  - look for the search icon at top right of any settings page.

I have accidently turned on Extend Lock on my Samsung Galaxy S-25 Ultra phone but want to turn the Extend Lock off but can't find an area to do it. I have tried Privacy and Security,  and also Lock Screen and AOD but none seem to work.  I am trying to secure my phone with a password or fingerprint to prevent access by anyone with my phone. Does anyone have any other suggestions?  Thx

My Extend Unlock keeps failing after disconnection and I'm using Trusted Device. 

Device is still in Trusted list, but has to be unlisted and listed again to work.
