Hello 👋 @CharlieHowes
Personally my phone is set up so I can save my most used pages into the quick access option in Samsung Internet App.
I can't think of why your folder would go missing unless it's some sort of odd syncing issue 🤔
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I've either had folders disappear or the icons in the folders disappear.
This happened when I created a Folder and placed links in that folder that I created in a browser. Some companies that I frequently visit online, don't have an app and I'm forced to create an icon/link that is saved to the Home page and then dropped into a folder.
They might disappear when I switched Launchers of when I use Safe Mode. When I return from Safe Mode or revert back to another Launcher, things don't always return.
I also find that Smart Switch doesn't transfer those links either.

After the recent update, I've had the same thing happen. I've always set up my phone so my apps are in self-created folders. So all my travel apps are in a travel folder, etc. Never had a problem creating them or losing them with my S23. No problem creating them in my new S25 Ultra.
However, after the recent update, all self-created folders are gone. Also, now I can't create folders. Yes, I know how to do it by dragging and dropping but it no longer works.
I've tried clearing the cache as well to no avail.
Extremely frustrated!

@GaryF31: It should still be possible to drag apps over other apps to group them in a folder. To give me a better understanding of your issue, please can you confirm if your Home screen layout is set to 'Home and Apps screens' or 'Home screen only'? Also, what happens when you attempt to create a folder by dragging an app icon over another one?
In the meantime, if you have 'Home screen only' selected, please try heading to Settings > Home screen > Lock Home screen layout, and toggle this option off if it is active.
