Delivery of S25 Ultra

Samsung's customer service is ridiculous. I preordered the S25 Ultra and got the buds 3 with it for free, all was well. Then the delivery got delayed for no explicible reason. In the time of my original delivery date, 22nd Feb, and delayed date, 8th March, I moved house, so will not be able to access the old address where the phone will be delivered. I ask to get this changed, Samsung tells me they cannot for security purposes, (I'd expect a company as big as Samsung to have high enough security, so it is not a security concern to amend order details). They tell me to cancel my order and re-order it, but in doing so I lose all of my preorder discounts which I obviously do not want to lose, and I am told they are incapable of applying those discounts to a new order. What a joke, absolutely useless.

It's annoying, but yes. They physically cannot change the delivery address; this is not just Samsung—most, if not all, companies cannot change the address after the fact, requiring cancellation and repurchasing. The support teams are very restricted in their abilities.
Maybe contact @Sam_UK to see if they can assist. I had an issue and shop.uk@email.support.samsung.com were very helpful.

In terms of the delay, that is also very annoying.

If this is delivered by DPD maybe you could be present at the address as they normally give you a 1 hour delivery window?

Surely they can give me the discounts retroactivitely. I've never had issues like this with any other company.

Maybe you should have not pre ordered if you were in the process of moving home.

Perhaps, but it would have been fine if the delivery wasn't delayed. Also when else am I going to get a £1549 phone with a £520 discount and free buds?

To be fair here, Samsung didn't ask you to move.

To prevent fraud, Samsung once an order has been confirmed, will not change delivery address. Sadly (and I'm not referring to you here)v too many scammers out there.

You have two options:.

Present at the address on day of delivery

Cancel and reorder (losing offers).

No amount of grumbling here will change this I'm afraid.

Customer Service are effectively just programmed robots. There's no recourse with Samsung. You need to take your money elsewhere. 😕
