Contactless not working

For a couple of days now my contactless payments are not working. When I go to pay, the terminal cannot pick up the phone's presence, the payment terminal does not register a nearby device that is paying. Nothing happens is what I am trying to say.

I have re added the cards successfully and authorised them via my bank app.

I think there is an issue with the NFC on my phone. I have tried to reboot the phone, I have tried to turn NFC Off and turn it back on again.

I am at my wits end here, I don't really want to use Samsung wallet as I use Google services to manage my cards etc and it integrates nicely with Google wallet.

I have not tried Samsung pay yet, nor do I want to.

I have tried without a case on the phone, and I have tried on multiple different terminals across a couple of different shops. All to no avail.

Can someone tell me where is google wallet on quick access im confused and im usually savvy when it comes to tech?

You will need to edit them and then add wallet and save.

I've found that running the diagnostic stuff on the phone fixed it for me

Google Wallet stopped working for me yesterday on my S25 Ultra. A reboot didn't fix it. Had to pay with my partner's phone.

This isn't a positioning thing as I've used the phone in exactly the same way each time.

I've given up. Samsung and Google support were useless so moved to a Xiaomi 15 ultra. NFC works perfectly.

Anyone with the issue tried the new March update yet? Has it helped?

It works fine for me now. I don't even have to open Google Wallet, it will auto open now.

Problem still there even after March update. First time nearing the phone to the POS nothing happens, no detection from the POS. If if try again in a few second it only then works. Issue not present with some newer POS devices.
