I use the Samsung email app exclusively for all my email accounts.
For example today from 5am to present time of writing this reply it has used >
Maybe long hold on the email app icon and tap on i and then storage and then clear cache as a first step.

I have the exact same issue. Only started this last month or so. And only had the phone 3 months. Samsung support have suggested doing a full Master Reset but obviously that is a huge inconvenience so is not something I can just quickly do. The phone also seems to become unnecessarily warm
