This sometimes happens with my btinternet.com email address @Jimbojames @
I go onto the app via the settings then storage and clear it's cache.
Other than that it typically self resolves.

@Jimbojames: Which app are you using to access your Virgin email account? Have you tried removing the account from your phone and re-adding it to see if this helps, or signing in to the account via a browser app to see if the problem persists?
