Unstable data connectivity s24ultra

Hello All, 

I'm facing persistent issue with Wifi as well as Mobile data. s24 ultra randomly drops the connectivity (Settings show it as enabled ) and I had to turn off and on mobile data to make it work again. This is very irritating while playing games or watching videos. Anyone facing similar issue?  Galaxy S24 Ultra

Can you try these troubleshooting steps if you haven't already. 

  • Go onto your Sim Manager settings and turn off the sim card. Then soft reboot by turning the phone off and on. Then go back into the sim manager and turn the sim back on and then see what happens. 
  • Go into General Management,  Reset , Reset Network Settings and then see if that helps. 
  • Change the sim to sim slot 2 in the sim tray to see if that helps. 
  • Run the diagnostic tool found in your Samsung Members App. 
  • Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict. 
  • Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too. 
  • Try your sim card in another phone to see what happens. 
  • Try another sim card in your phone and see what happens. 

I appreciate that's alot of steps to try however if a last resort of a back up and factory reset does nkt work then a Samsung Service Centre can assess your phone.

Hey there, 

Thanks for the advice. However, I'm still facing an issue after every 15-20mins where connection is just lost randomly. Weirdly, connecting through VPN somehow makes the connection stable and I don't face an issue.  Seems like a software bug in the Samsung OS.  It's not even 2 months since I purchased this phone and feeling ***** of missing functionality.

I moved from 10yr old Huawei Honor 6x which still had better and relevant features like network meter, app lock for additional security, LED notification for messages and 3.5mm jack. While samsung provides a secure folder option it's just useless as no one wants to create a duplicate fresh app copy to secure it. 

This has become a data feeding machine for a Google and Samsung nothing else. You can't open a community site in other than samsung's default browser (Are you kidding me?? ) No screenshots allowed in browser. Battery life is just less than 1 day whereas vivo, xiomee able to provide battery backup of 2days (in real life, not based on some useless parameters ).

Overall, it just shows how much overhyped this phone is as compared to others. I haven't used a single AI feature till date because they all are far from real life use for now. there is a concern as well, since AI is in the development phase no one knows how much data they are stealing and selling in where. 

Absolute waste!!!

I'm having the same problem, every 20-30 minutes internet  (4g/5g) is lost for about 30-40 seconds, after this it starts working. I checked with my mobile provider and they did some tests in the area and reset my internet connection and  settings. No positive results.

What could it be? I noticed that this issue appeared after the last update installed on march 30 2024.

I'm experiencing the same issue. It is very disappointing. My S9+ never had any issues with the dual sim.
