unstable connection with andriod auto

I always upgrade to the newest phobe. and do the pre order sales.   always been happy with every upgrade till my lastes (S24 Ultra)  can not keep a connection with my car when doing any driving.   google maps and Waze.  keeps resetting (can go 1 min  to maybe as far as 10-15 minutes running before restarting the app).   have had several updates and the problem contunues.    dobt know if i actually got a flawed phone?  or maybe i should go back to a S23...  and stop upgrading.     no longer a happy samsung customer.

Did you try clearing cache for Google Maps and Waze? You could also try clearing the phone cache.

Are connecting wirelessly or using a cable?

There were some issues reported with Android Auto and the recommendation was to upgrade the system of your car. Is your car old? Is it from the VW group? Some of these cars needed the software update.
