Any idea how to fix this? I have exhausted all the solutions I found online and via live chat with a Samsung exper

@AJamaicanUser @YHF: When you head to your Samsung account settings > Galaxy sharing, please try toggling on 'Find people you can share with' prior to adding a phone number via the 'Phone number' option, to see if this helps.

Having the same issue! No luck searching the web! I can’t use Find application with family, neither Galaxy Sharing - no one even sees my contact information.

I have found the solution! (BELLOW)

So what I did was basically located the app in settings under apps called: "Group Sharing", and I cleared the cache and data, then went back and was able to add my phone number and now everything is working.

Thank you. I've been facing this error for 6 months and thank goodness, I fixed it today. If it is not fixed yet, uninstall the update of the app by clicking on the right corner 3 dots.

  • I believe I may have found a solution. I believe that in order for this to work, your SIM card number must not be unknown. Outside of that, I did go to Galaxy Sharing settings and erase all personal data (I didn't observe anything missing but do so at your own risk) and then clear the cache of the app. I also disabled/removed any other SIM that was still showing unknown (for eSIMs you simply need to turn it off). Once I did all of that, I restarted the phone and went to add number and it was automatically there.

Unfortunately, the problem has returned to square one. The number has been removed for some odd reason and I am unable to add it back.
