Ultra24 screen dims due to overheating?

I recently got the ultra 24 and today my brightness randomly lowered itself (adaptive brightness is off) and when I tried to turn it back up it said it could not increase brightness further due to temperature issues?

My phone does feel warm but like what is going on? How do I fix this?

My phone was dimming and it was barely even warm. I had no issues with my screen brightness on my pixel 8 pro.

Install "Good Guardians" app from the Galaxy Store.  Then, from inside the Good Guardians app, you can install the "Thermal Guardian" app.  Once Thermal Guardian is open, go to additional settings.  I'm wondering though, can a rep from Samsung comment on how much it is okay to increase the temperature threshold without jeopardizing hardware?  I disabled automatic screen dimming, 5G step-down, and increased temperature threshold by 1 Celsius only, so will have to see if it helps the screen dimming issue.

The good guardians thing seems to have stopped working since the oneui 7 and android 15 update I got yesterday. Now my phone is barely visible in the warn weather again. What a heap of ***** I wish I'd bought a different phone.

Ok, since the good guardians thermal guardian fix didn't work on OneUI 7.0, I have found that Display Assistant from Good Lock works. Change the Brightness Limit profile from Standard to Light. Honestly why is all this necessary? What a frustrating pain.
