I've just a sold my S24 Plus this evening. A friend has bought it off me. He's going to New Zealand on the 31st of this month to visit his daughter, who's living over there. He's taking the phone with him, to give to her as a present.
My question is, will the phone be compatible with their networks over there? The phone is unlocked and bought from Argos.

I said to him, if it doesn't work over there. Bring it back and I'll refund him. He said if it didn't, he'd give it to his wife as a present.
Thanks for replying and quickly 😃👍

The only issue would be is the Samsung Manufacturer's Warranty wouldn't be supported,  however as the other members have said the phone will work as intended @Bigtasty65

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Yeah, cheers BondOfBrothers. Touch wood though, 🤞Every Samsung phone I've owned has never let me down. It's upto the new owner to take care of it now 👍

@Bigtasty65: For your peace of mind, if you have made a 5-10 minute cumulative call to a local number(s) from inside the UK, using a UK network SIM, then the S24+ will be unlocked for use with networks in other regions.

I think I have, but not too sure! It was my backup phone to the S24U. 🫤
