Herman

Hello, greetings.
After the last update to my S24+ in December, the device had two issues that still haven't been resolved:
* The voice dictation microphone has stopped working, and only the call microphone works. Because of this, I can't send audio via WhatsApp, use the AI, or use the voice recorder. If I put my mouth close to the microphone while recording something and shout very loudly, something is recorded, but very quietly.
* When I make or answer a call, the call microphone doesn't activate unless I speak very loudly. That is, if I answer with my normal voice, the other end can't hear me, but if I speak very loudly, the microphone "activates."
For your information, I followed the following steps:
- I called Samsung technical support and followed the steps they gave me. First, I reset the settings, and since that didn't work, I reset the phone to factory settings. Everything remains the same.
- I don't have a screen protector that would affect it.
- The microphone area has always been clean, and in fact, I've used those anti-everything cases (freakishly careful).
At the end of it all, technical support told me that a new update would most likely fix the problem, but it's been 5 months and nothing.
Has anyone else had the same experience and found a solution? It's quite annoying that such an expensive device, with such little use, is useless for half the things it can do.
Regards
Herman

No, of course not. I know all the factors that could damage the device, and I wouldn't hide important data. The device hasn't suffered any impact or anything like that. Just an original Samsung wireless charger. I'm very careful with my phones. I've had a Samsung phone since the S4, and this is the first time I've had a problem.
