UI7 update causing printing issues

Anyone else having problems printing after the UI7 update? 

I keep getting the "printer not available" and greyed out name when I try to print something. 

If I remove the printer and add it again, I can print a page or two and it goes back to "not available", I can repeat the process and it will work again for a page or two with an occasional error telling me "printer out of paper" or the print spooler will get hung (if it gets hung, I have to reboot the phone for it to work again) 

I print hundreds of pages a month and had no problem prior to the update so it's def something with UI7 that's causing the problem

(I chatted with the text option on here and they basically told me to factory restore my phone to "see if it helps".. I'm not about to go through setting the phone up from scratch again just to "see" if it works or not..

I have cleared cache, updated all relevant apps or plug ins, uninstalled and reinstalled the relevant apps or plugins, no luck)

Yeah, same here after the UI7 update. It’s super frustrating. Feels like something in the update messed with how printers are handled. Re-adding the printer works temporarily for me too, but then it bugs out again. Hopefully they patch it soon factory resetting just to test it is a no-go for me too.

I've found a way that seems to work better for a while, still gets hung eventually but if you go and manually clear data and the cache on your print spooler (in settings, apps, show system apps,print spooler, force stop, clear data, clear cache).. also, using the mopria print plug-in seems to work better than the default print service
