Trouble transferring Whatsapp chats from iPhone to S24 Ultra!

I hope someone can help me, it´s been 4 days trying to make this work.

I own an iPhone 11 Pro and have just migrated to an S24 Ultra 1TB.

I did it all correctly according to Samsung instructions about transferring Whatsapp chat data from my iPhone to S24Ultra, including doing the fabric restore and installing latest version of Smart Switch, Whatsapp, using cable, same WIFI network, turning off iMessage an Facetime, etc).

Well, I realized that after finishing the process, most whatsapp chats are not being displayed - even though I can find them when I search for a specific contact -. Why´s that? Can´t I have them all displayed as before, without having to send a message to the chat contact? Only group chats are being displayed.

The other problem is that I´m an admin in some whatsapp groups, but after transferring chats from iPhone, when I open these whatsapp groups in S24Ultra, it simply shows as I just joined that group, losing all the group history and past messages, media, etc.

My next attempt now is to backup my Whatsapp chat (55GB) in iPhone through iCloud (200GB storage), delete whatsapp from iPhone, reinstall it using this backup and only after that doing the Whatsapp Smart Switch Transfer,  and restore the chats in S24.

But each attempt take hours, so anyone could me help solve this?

Whatsapp backs up to Google normally, maybe different on iPhone, if have option chose Google so from whatsapp on your iPhone back up chat, when complete

Unfortunately, Whatsapp backup on iPhone is made directly to iCloud.

No option to do it to Google Drive cloud, otherwise it would be possible to restore it from Google Drive on Android phones.

This is the whatsapp option that Samsung Smart Switch uses to transfer chats. It´s the final part of the transfer process. It didn´t work as I said.

Oh sorry, I haven't tried it just saw it in whatsapp

I would contact whatsapp support and see if they have a solution

I just tried your suggestion and my latest attempt was trying only the whatsapp option you mentioned, without using Smart Switch software, but the same problem goes on.

I tried calling Official Samsung tech support in Brazil, but they just said "we do not guarantee any compatibily with iOS about tranferring data". The guy didn´t even know Samsung´s Smart Switch software well. Then I started posting comments on Youtube videos about this kind of data tansferring (iOS to Android whatsapp chats) to see if anyone has been through this hoping someone else has got some extra info on this issue.

Hi there. I have the exact same problem. I'm trying to move from an iPhone 15 to a Samsung S22 Ultra. The strange thing is that for some groups the chat was transferred correctly; for some other groups nor the chat nor the media were transferred. Any solution?
