HELP PLEASE!

I just bought a new S24+ , when I tried to transfer data from my old Huawei or Xiaomi, transfer everything except my "Saved Networks"

How can transfer saved networks from old phone to Samsung, Smart Switch didn't transfer it, I tried through cable and wireless, can't make it.

Any help or suggestions 🙏

Have tried back them up to google and restore them on the new phone?

Hi, as I know there is no option to backup "Saved Wi-Fi networks" on Google.

Can you explain to me please 🙏

Do you have that many networks to transfer? I usually just add the couple WiFi networks I need.

I work many places, travel a lot, work in networking field, so I have like 400+ saved networks.

Hi @Ibraham

I am assuming that you have a google account setup on your old phone.

If you go to Settings -> "Accounts and backups" on that page you should have "Manage accounts" and a Google drive -> backup data , this should take you to backup to Google drive and should be able to backup contacts, sms, call history, wifi networks, etc. Backup your account.

When setting up the new phone enter the google account and restore from it.

Alternatively, you could try going into Settings -> Connections -> WiFi and select the desired wifi network and tap on the cog settings next to it. It should open a page with the WiFi network information and buttons at the bottom of the screen saying "QR code", "Share network" and Forget.

Tap the QR code, and a QR code will be produced that you can scan with new phone and the wifi settings will be transferred. You could also use the Share network and the phone should scan for devices to share wifi settings with and follow the instructions on the screen by selecting the right device..

I hope one of these methods will solve your problem.
