I have a problem with taps on the touch screen in game apps being mistaken for swipe gestures. If there is the slightest movement between where I touch and where I release my finger, what I intended to be a tap gesture is misinterpreted.
I've tried modifying "Touch sensitivity" and "Tap duration" settings but that only makes the problem worse. Is there no setting controlling how far a touch may move and still be interpreted as a tap gesture?

I do have a TORRAS Diamond Shield screen protector, but this problem was also noticeable before I installed it.
Clearing the cache had no effect. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Does it happen in any game or just some. If latter name few. Try diagnostics via Samsung members app

It is most noticeable on a game called Rise of Castles. I've played this game on my previous non-Samsung phone with no problem. It is only on my new Galaxy S24 Ultra that the touch screen sensitivity is so bad.
