Super fast charging stopped working after update

Hello, 

I have just updated my phone to the latest security patch and now my fast or super fast charging does not work at all amd I can only charge at a slow rate.

I have the samsung cable and plug that supports 45w charging and all was working fine till I updated.

How can I get a fix for this please 🙏

Just because it doesn't affect you does not mean it isn't the case.  If you have nothing constructive to say then say nothing...it is a confirmed software issue...have spoken with Samsung.

I have s24 ultra and cleaned my charging port few days ago with a toothpick and 3-4 days later the super charging stopped working. It is only states charging whenever  I connect it. Made sure that the charger does work by checking a different samsung device (s23) (the super charging does work there) Is there a chance that my issue is softwere related as well or in the cleaning process something was damaged?

@OmriTa_sam: When you connect to your charger, does the battery icon turn blue/turquoise, as if so then this indicates that Super Fast Charging is working as expected. Similarly, if you head to Settings > Battery, does it say 'Super Fast Charger connected' below the progress bar at the top of the screen?

s22 here - 10w is all I now get after the latest update. Bought 4 new chargers and new cables - same on all of them. It starts "Superfast charging" and in battery it says "superfast charger connected" but it doesn't charge at that speed and it just switches to "Charging" a few seconds after connecting up the charger (65w gan).

Same here. It started around 2-3 updates ago. I just installed 3rd update like few days ago and.... nothing, still not super fast charging. Great Phone. You know what #samsung this is the last Samsung Phone i had. Never ever again - you are buying the greatest and most expensive Phone from top brand and it charges like Phones 7 years ago... no thank you!!!

I now have this exact same issue in my s22 after the latest update. It sees super fast charger but as soon as you connect says SFC then changes to just 'charging' and the speed is basic charging.

Hi! I am also facing the same problem. I followed all the steps in the troubleshooting forum but did not help. Did you manage to fix the problem?

They insist its not their firmware - so next step is charging port replacement. I'll get this done and report back.
