Speaker phone automatically comes on for received calls

I had an update this morning. Now every time I receive a call it defaults to speaker being on - no way I can see to stop it.

Anyone else noticed this?

go into the phone app, click the three dots and go to settings, there should be an option for "answering and ending calls", check that "answer using speaker" is turned off! 😊

Thank you wasn't aware of that option. Update must have switched it on. Saved me a call to Samsung.

I don't have any setting for answer using speaker in "answering and ending calls", just "Read caller names aloud", "Answer automatically", Press Vol up to answer...", and "press side button to end..."

I catch like a bug but in some cases it can help to decrease min level of speaker during call in folded state.
I have the galaxy watch connected with my Flip 7.  After answering call on cover screen switch sound source to the watch, and after back to the phone. After this action volume decreases on loud speaker and became convinient to use. Minimum level drops down. You can try this method.
Also I created routine witch decrease loud speaker to the min value (6%) during calls in folded state
