1 week now with my s24 ultra and wow what an amazing phone.

My only negative at the moment is the galaxy store and whatever other linked apps keep downloading games and apps without my knowledge.

I can't find a way to stop this. Galaxy store permissions are locked and unable to change 🤨

Any way i can fix this issue ?

Disabling mobile service manager seems to have fixed my issue 😃 no more installed games and apps without my permission.

Hi, @Proph3t. I'm delighted to hear that you're loving the stunning S24 Ultra. What you've reported about the behaviour of Galaxy Store is slightly unusual.

Are these apps and games that you'd already installed and that are being auto-updated, or are they apps and games you'd never manually downloaded?

Hi Paul,

The apps and games being installed have never been downloaded as i don't play games on my phone.

I have woke up 3 times to a message saying new apps games have been installed and they appear in the app drawer.

I've never had any apps or games installed on my Samsung phones without my knowledge. I've never Evan had apps auto update from the Samsung store. So seems very strange or a misunderstanding.

Thanks for checking. Do you have the "Show recommended apps" feature switched off?

If you wish to check, just click on the Recents icon > Click the 3-dot menu on the top right > Show recommended apps (toggle this OFF, if it's on).

It's also possible that your network provider is prompting the app installations.

The guide below advises how you can uninstall the unwanted apps:

The Recents icon lists recently opened apps and is represented by three lines - (e.g. III).

It's usually located to the left of the Home button on the Home screen. It might be on the right (depending on your display settings and personal configurations).

For clarity, if you use Buttons OR Swipe gestures, you'll either click the icon or swipe up to access it.

To see your current Navigation bar settings, please go to Settings > Display > Navigation bar > Check to see whether Buttons or Swipe Gestures is selected.
