1 week now with my s24 ultra and wow what an amazing phone.

My only negative at the moment is the galaxy store and whatever other linked apps keep downloading games and apps without my knowledge.

I can't find a way to stop this. Galaxy store permissions are locked and unable to change 🤨

Any way i can fix this issue ?

Thanks for checking. Are you able to confirm which games and apps were added, please?

You don't have to give an exhaustive list. I just want to get an idea of this.

I look forward to finding out more, so I can look into this (or point you in the best direction). 👍

You're very welcome. Please keep an eye on it and let us know whether the issue occurs again.

You can also submit an Error report, if this happens again, as it'll enable our Software Team to take a more granular look at what might be contributing to this (and how to put it right):

Open the Samsung Members app > Click Support (bottom of the menu) > Send feedback > Click the arrow > Select the most accurate category from the list > Choose Frequency to denote how often the issue occurs>  Provide as much information as possible (including any steps you might have tried to address the issue) in the text box > Data, such as screenshots and screen recordings, can be provided by clicking the paperclip icon > Ensure that the Send system log data option is selected > Click the arrow on the top-right to send your Error report.

It would be interesting to see what region your from and what region your phone is. I've read about "mobile service manager" on some US carrier phones.
Here's some info about MSM.

A "Mobile Service Manager" (MSM) refers to a pre-installed app on many Android devices, primarily used by mobile carriers to silently download, update, and install carrier-specific applications on a user's phone without their direct interaction or knowledge; essentially acting as a background application managing carrier services on the device.

Key points about MSM:

Function:

MSM primarily manages the installation and updates of carrier-specific apps like customer service tools, loyalty programs, or device-specific features without requiring user input.

User control:

Many users may not be aware of the MSM app on their phone, and some might find it intrusive as it can install apps without explicit permission.

Carrier-specific:

Different mobile carriers may have their own versions of the MSM app with different functionalities.

I can confirm i bought my phone from dealmonday.com which delivers phone from all over the world to the uk for cheaper prices. Mine setup with polish highlighted before i choose english so maybe the MSM app is the culprit.

Anyway of getting rid of it if its not all phones ?

Doesn't look like a good site to buy a phone from 1738778762654.jpg
