Some notifications only showing once the phone is unlocked

Hey there,

Looking for some help if possible!

I've had my Galaxy S24 Ultra since January and I've got quite a frustrating issue that I cannot get to the bottom of!

Some of my notifications will only push through to the device once the phone is unlocked - I tend to notice it more on my banking apps more than anything else - emails, texts etc seem to be absolutely fine.

I've over the last day tested it against my old iPhone that I still had in the drawer and notifications to that were instant ; nothing on the Galaxy until again when I unlocked it, they pushed through.

Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this at all?

Question. Are the notifications hidden and show when the device is unlocked or do they suddenly popup and arrive/ping as you unlock your phone?

Once I unlock the phone and it goes to my home screen I can physically see them popping up in the notifications bar at the top.

Hmm, now that you've mentioned I think I might have a similar issue but I'm gonna see if it happens again.

Thanks so much for your help @arianwen27 however the steps haven't worked sadly.

I know it doesn't seem like a massive issue on the grand scale of things but it causes me to miss important updates especially by banking apps.

Just an update to this one.

I've taken my sim card out and it appears to have fixed the issue. I pop the sim back in and the issue returns.

Really unsure how a SIM can be affecting this?
