Smart Switch - Manually Tag Photos Not Being Transfers.

I upgraded my S21 Ultra to the S24 Ultra back on February, this year and I have just noticed that all my manually tagged photos from the last 3 years have been all removed whilst transferring all my items from my old phone. This is extremely annoying as I could search for a specific item and it could come straight up.

Going forward, is there anything I can do to safeguard this happening again on my next upgrade and is this a known issue with Smart Switch? Do anyone have any better solutions to this problem?

SmartSwitch I only use for moving my gallery across @Moisty007 when setting up a new phone and to be honest I've not noticed the glitch you've experienced. 

It might be worth sending your experience as feedback via your Samsung Members App. 

Would you let us know what Samsung say please.

This isn't a one-off. It's happened to me on switching my Samsung A50 to the A55. I'd really like to know if there's a fix while I still have my old phone.

Same issue for me. I lost the folder structure and all the tags I'd assigned.
